On 7th August 2025, our school Vatsalya International School organized a Hindi Debate Competition in which students of Grade 9 and Grade 10 participated. The topic for Grade 10 was: “Cashless Economy – Appropriate or Inappropriate.” Here, two students from Jupiter House and Neptune House spoke against the motion, while participants from Mars and Venus House spoke in favour of it. The topic for Grade 9 was: “Ban on Bottled Water – Appropriate or Inappropriate.” Two students spoke in favour, while the other two spoke against the motion. Each participant spoke for 2–3 minutes. The audience also posed challenging questions, but the participants answered them very well. In the end, the results were as follows: 4th Place: Mars House 3rd Place: Venus House 2nd Place: Jupiter House 1st Place: Neptune House (only a 2-point lead over Jupiter House) From Grade 10, the winner was Sanghvi Divya K. (10-C, Neptune House). From Grade 9, the winner was Patel Nitya R. (9-B, Jupiter House).

On 31st July 2025, the Pre-school students of VIS, Borsad, joyfully celebrated Blue Day with exciting water-themed activities. The day aimed to foster curiosity, creativity, and holistic development through play and exploration. Children engaged in sensory-rich activities like water play, rain crafts, and fun games, which enhanced motor skills, balance, and coordination. Singing rain songs, weather talks, and the “Funderstanding” competition boosted their vocabulary and communication. Group tasks encouraged teamwork, sharing, and emotional growth, while the theme connected them with nature, helping them appreciate rain and weather patterns. The celebration added fun, variety, and meaningful learning—making it a truly memorable day!
Pre-Primary section
In August, Vatsalya International School’s English Department enthusiastically organised the Spell Bee Competition, drawing students from various grades to enhance vocabulary, spelling, and healthy competition. The event began with a warm welcome and an introduction emphasizing language proficiency, graced by Principal Sir and Vice Principals Rahul Sir and Rupashree Ma’am. The competition featured exciting rounds tailored for different groups: Primary 1 & 2, Middle, and Senior sections. Challenges included Spell and Define, Magic Vowels, Scramble Sprint, Crossword, and Rapid Fire, testing diverse language skills from spelling aloud to deciphering jumbled words. Students impressed judges and audience alike with their confidence, speed, and word mastery. Jupiter House won in the Primary and Senior sections, while Neptune House triumphed in Middle school. Winners received certificates and appreciation from the school leadership. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, celebrating the dedication of teachers, participants, and volunteers. The Spell Bee inspired all to embrace the joy and power of words.

On July 30, 2025, the school auditorium came alive with the annual Interhouse Social Science Quiz, organised by the Social Science Department under Quiz In-charge Mr. Alok Mistry. The event, held in junior (classes 5–7) and senior (classes 8–10) categories, featured four rounds, including an exciting Rapid-Fire round that tested participants' knowledge of the NCERT syllabus and current affairs. Mr. Satish and Ms. Monika led junior rounds, while Mr. Alok and Ms. Julie conducted senior rounds. Jupiter House claimed the overall championship. Congratulations to all participants and the team whose efforts made the event a grand success!
