Mathematics Quiz is a test administered to know the student’s knowledge and understanding in the field of Mathematics.
Keeping in mind the same motive Vatsalya International School conducted Inter-house Math quiz for 4th to 9th students in two groups on National Mathematics Day, 22nd December 2023. On this day students remembered the great Indian Mathematician Ramanujan and his contributions in the field of mathematics through the interesting information which teachers provided about him.
The Main objective of the quiz was to encourage children to look beyond their textual knowledge and relieve the tension of their daily work routine. Children showcased a good team spirit.
Mathematics Quiz is one of the activities with the help of which a mathematics teacher can motivate and encourage the children to become truthful, active, and alert and to arose in him/her critical thinking importantly frankness straight forwardness.
The mathematics quiz goes a long way in shaping and molding the personality of child towards mathematics.

A Mid Term Event – Choral Recitation & Group Singing competition was organised by Vatsalya team on 3rd November. The themes, titles, songs, poems and stories were finalized on 15th of September. We made sure every program had a takeaway for the student, both informative and value based. Since, the competition was all about language and a varied form of expressing it, we came up with the title “Vocal And Verse Fiesta”
On the 7th of October we were thrilled to announce a Chorus Singing and Recitation Competition that promises to be more than just an event. A platform to showcase one’s talent, boost one’s confidence, and connect with like-minded individuals.
The house teachers and students were ready to put their skills to the test. Time was short and work in hand was plenty. Everyone got learning, planning, creatively working on training their voices, learning new languages, preparing props, working with large numbers of students.
To witness the program, class IX parents were invited. A small addition was made to the event. The children of Shram Mandir, an orphanage, were invited to the event and were bestowed with Diwali gifts by the students of class IX Commerce section.
On the 3rd of November, the program began sharp at 8.15am as planned.
Everyone took up the allotted responsibility and fulfilled it to the best of their ability. The students participated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
It was a win, win situation for all of us as our goal of getting our students to learn stage discipline, team work, oratory skills, developing an ear for music, creativity at expressing poetries and stories were met with. We also had a 100% participation of students from classes 1 – 9, except for those who had to go for a few sports events.
We hope and pray all that learning will take deep root and further be fruitful in the lives of our students.

Vatsalya celebrated its 77th Independence Day with unprecedented Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav fervor. Our Pujya Swamijis and Principal Sir hoisted the Flag followed by National Anthem, English and Hindi speech that awakened us to uphold the values of Democracy, Secularism, and Unity in Diversity, to ignite Patriotism and instil a sense of pride in our hearts. The Pre-Primary (Salute to Indian Army), represented audacity, renunciation and unwavering allegiance stands as nation sovereignty. The Primary section felicitated our glorious nation, freedom fighters, with their indomitable spirit, who made countless sacrifices to ensure that the generations to come would live in a free India and feel proud for Aatmanir bhar Bharat . Std 4 to 6 highlighted ‘Nation First Always First’ the milestones India achieved the motto: Bharat Jodo Andolan as Gandhiji led Bharat Choda Andolan. Std 7 and 8 focused on Chandrayan-3, scripts a new chapter in India's space odyssey. This momentous achievement is a testament to our scientists' relentless dedication. The nation salute their spirit and ingenuity!" The program ended with Swamiji’s speech which emphasized on Dedicated to the Transformation in every Child.

Spelling competitions are not only exciting but also provide a unique opportunity to showcase language skills. Keeping the same in mind, an intra-house Spell Bee competition was organized for the students of classes IV to XI at School auditorium on 31st July 2023. The competition was conducted in 5 rounds. It aimed at giving students a platform to learn different spellings with their pronunciations and consequently, enrich their vocabulary.
Students participated earnestly in the competition. Their efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all.
