On 4th Dec,2014 Vatsalya has taken the giant step to spread awareness about the cleanliness mission launched by Hon. Narendra Modi. Through well planned street play conducted by std X students in Gujarati and Hindi they caught the attention of the Borsad and proved an eye opener for all. Std. X students were divided in two groups one for spreading awareness and others for systematic implementation of the message through actual action. Their performance around the bus stand and main market street touched a chord among the hundreds of hearts present there. All passerby's , passengers and shopkeepers appreciated the efforts of the students . They gave active participation in the programme and took the oath to keep the premises clean.
School Management, Administration and Staff also took part in the mission along with students. VATSALYA BELIVES FIRMLY THAT "CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS".
We the students of Std XI (Commerce) have been studying about sustainable development, ways to conserve our Mother Earth for so long that we wanted to deal with this topic when it appeared in our economics text book once again a little differently! So we decided to hold an awareness program in our neighborhood school, Sardar Patel School, Vasna, Gujarat. On 4th Dec., well equipped with a powerful ppt on this subject and many videos to support the reality, i.e., the apathy of human race towards our lifeline, Earth, we tried our best to ignite a passion among the fellow students to take a positive step towards this endeavor. The time for textual learning is over, the time for mere words is over, and the time has come to start working in this direction. We should do whatever in our power and within our capacity for sustainable development. We enjoyed spreading the message that ended with everyone taking an oath that we all will contribute positively towards the 'Swakch Bharat Abhiyan' launched by our Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi ji. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Principal of Sardar Patel School who gave us the opportunity to take a lesson beyond the confines of a classroom and our school's management who are a constant source of support to us.
